We are a clinic inside a holistic centre, which catches people out the first time — you will not be looking for a Theorem shopfront, because there isn’t one. This is the whole journey:
- Head for 51 Bromsgrove Road. It is the main road, so satnav and Google Maps both bring you to the door rather than to the end of a street.
- Look for the low white-and-brick building signed Newton House — Omega Therapies, with the blue Entrance arrow on the wall. That is us. Smile Dental Care is on the same stretch of road if you use it as a marker.
- Come in through the front door beside the shop window. Omega’s gift and health shop is the first thing you see — that is their counter, not ours. Say you are here for Theorem; you need nothing from Omega and there is nothing to sign.
- We are in Treatment Room 1, signed with the Theorem logo on the door. Sit down outside it and we will come out to you.
Running late? Ring 07380 841468 rather than turning up and hoping. Thursday is a single-clinician day and the diary has no slack in it.
The door you are looking for.
Redditch is a Thursday clinic, and we would rather you knew that before you drove over. One day a week, nine until two, with the last appointment starting at one. That is not a scaling-back — it is a second clinic opened deliberately on this side of the county. If Thursday does not work, our Alcester clinic runs Monday to Friday, and the same records follow you between the two.

Non-medical prescriber & injection therapist
Most private physiotherapists have to send you back to a GP for medication, and somewhere else again for an injection. Mark is a qualified non-medical prescriber and gives the joint injections himself — which is why one Redditch Thursday can settle something that would otherwise take three appointments in three buildings.

The room itself
Treatment Room 1, with the Theorem logo on the door. A private room that shuts, not a curtained cubicle — the couch is only half of it, because an assessment that never gets you upright cannot see the thing that is hurting you. Whatever is wrong usually only shows itself when you load it.
Shockwave and Class IV laser are both available at Redditch, and both are decided in the session rather than booked in advance — nobody can know they are the right call until someone has looked at you. If the laser is used you will be given goggles and told what is happening first.
Questions people ask before booking
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book yourself in. Most of our patients have never seen a GP about the problem.
Is Redditch really only open on Thursdays?
Yes — Thursday, 9am to 2pm, with the last appointment starting at 1pm. That is the bookable clinic, and it is what we publish rather than the hours the building happens to be unlocked.
If you need to be seen sooner than the next Thursday, say so when you ring. Alcester runs Monday to Friday, nine to seven, and your notes go with you — you would not be starting again.
Where do I park?
On-street parking on Bromsgrove Road. Check the signs where you stop — restrictions vary along the road, and we would rather you read them than take our word for it.
If the road is full, Redditch Station car park is about three minutes’ walk away and is the reliable fallback. Leave five minutes more than you think you need on a Thursday morning.
Is the clinic accessible?
Ring 07380 841468 before you book and we will tell you exactly what the entrance and the route to the room are like. We would rather describe the building honestly on the phone than publish a reassuring sentence that turns out not to fit your wheelchair.
Tell us what you actually need — a transfer, a powered chair, an assistance dog, a carer coming in with you. It is a short conversation, and better had in advance than at the door.
How quickly can I be seen, and how long does it take?
There is no waiting list, but there is only one clinic day, so Redditch Thursdays fill from one week to the next. Ring early in the week rather than on Wednesday evening.
The first appointment is fifty minutes, follow-ups forty. Both are with Mark from start to finish — you are not handed to an assistant after the first ten minutes.
Can I get everything here that I could at Alcester?
Nearly. Physiotherapy assessments and follow-ups, remedial rehabilitation, acupuncture, prescribing consultations, joint injections, shockwave and Class IV laser all run at Redditch.
Two things are Alcester-only: psychotherapy, and the wellness and stress-relief massage. If that is what you were after, book Alcester instead — it saves you a wasted Thursday.
How do I pay, and what if I have to cancel?
We are a self-pay clinic. You pay us directly and claim it back yourself if your policy allows — we will give you a receipt with everything an insurer asks for. We do not bill insurers directly and we do not accept Bupa.
Give us 24 hours’ notice to cancel and there is no charge. Less than that, or a missed appointment, is charged at the full fee. On a one-day-a-week clinic a late cancellation is not just our slot — it is somebody else’s week.
We see children from age seven upwards, with a parent or guardian in the room. If you have been treated at our Alcester clinic your records follow you, so you are not starting again. And when you ring 07380 841468 it is answered around the clock — ask for a person and you will get one.
